1st Salon At the Garden: Sunday, March 16, 7:30 p.m.

Chuck Peck and 4 other performers will be at the First Salon in Scottsdale.

The salon has become almost a work of art and a test of stamina. Almost a year ago we started believing in the idea as we settled in a new house. We were lucky, very lucky indeed, to discover Andrea Clearfield in Philadelphia and to have her become a mentor for the salon. Andrea Clearfield is an accomplished musician, opera composer, performer, and is recognized for running one of the most celebrated salons for over 25 years.Andrea Clearfield

The Salon at the Garden is a space for friends to enjoy the arts, share with the artists, build community, and for a few hours be part of an amazing creative experience. We open our house in the spirit of pure friendship and to make a very small contribution to the nurturing of talented individuals.

Alcvin Ryuzen Ramos and Christopher Bernetchez perfrom  a concert called: A dimensional journey into the heart of ancient wind instruments

Shakuhachi bamboo flute master, Alcvin Ryuzen Ramos and multi-instrumentalist, Chris Bernetchez combine forces in a new genre-bending atmospheric fusion ensemble that defies categorization. Japanese shakuhachi flute, wood and clay Native Style flutes of North America, agave didgeridoos, and much more! Kazemon (from the Japanese word, Wind Gate) is an exploration into space, time, and textures of sound. Deeply inspired by instrumental wind traditions from around the world and the spiritual quest, Alcvin and Chris, create sacred-spacial evocative sonic journeys using their flutes as well various gongs, singing bowls and percussion, vocals, and guitar for added texture and soundscapes.
